The World Economic Forum's latest report highlights "uncertainty" as the defining theme of 2026, presenting significant challenges for board directors. They face the critical task of overseeing sustainability-related risks and opportunities while safeguarding corporate reputation and stewarding long-term business resilience; against a rapidly changing geopolitical and economic backdrop during a period of intense technological disruption.

We will be joined by a panel of experts including Nick Bridge CMG (Associate Fellow at Chatham House and former UK Special Representative for Climate Change to 5 Foreign Secretaries), Camilla Born MBE (CEO of campaign organisation Electrify Britain and senior climate policy advisor including to Rt Hon. Lord Sharma KCMG as COP26 President), and Devyani Vaishampayan (Chapter Zero Fellow and Remuneration Committee Chair at NHS Supply Chain and Forvis Mazars) who will explore how organisations can consider their sustainability impact in this context. We will delve into navigating global risks, enhancing resilience through sustainability action, leveraging AI for sustainable transformation, and crafting authentic communications in a polarised environment.

This event is in collaboration with Chapter Zero.
